After learning that I had Fibromyalgia, (an invisible condition without a cure), I began extensive research so that I would learn, know and understand how to help myself cope with this chronic pain condition.  I began reading books and medical research information to learn how it could be treated.   I signed up with a few support groups and forums to share and compare information and symptoms with others who are afflicted.

In times past, there were no synthetic medications to treat various diseases.  People primarily lived off the herbs, fruits and vegetables of the land.  I have always been a health enthusiast, but after being diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, I re-researched various herbs and supplements that could help ease the pain and discomfort of Fibromyalgia.   I listed these herbs in my book to share with others.   Herbs work slower than the traditional synthetic medicines, but they do work.  Light exercise on a regular basis will help ease the stiffness throughout the body.  It is best to keep moving with Fibro, even though it is difficult.

I tried the medications that were approved by FDA to treat Fibromyalgia, but the long term side effects were not worth it. Since sleep deprivation and all over body pain are the main symptoms of Fibromyalgia, I utilized my time while I was awake to share my feelings of fibro pain.  I  have learned that through faith, hope and patience, I will be given the strength to endure this journey.   Faith is what encouraged me to write  "The Painful Reality of Fibromyalgia".

I still have Fibromyalgia all over  my body.  There is not a day that I live without pain.

Faith & Hope is the key to keep Fibromyalgia from taking over your life!
